2019 Summer Intern: Liam Higgins

Liam Higgins, ENFJ-A

What do you get when you cross a love of storytelling with a hatred for reading? A filmmaker. A good story unites people from all walks of life. Whether it’s feature films or television, commercials or books, the story matters most. My love for stories brought me to the world of film and video.

Born and raised in Michigan, my studies took me to Indiana and Italy. I graduated from Ball State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Telecommunication: Video Production. I’ve worked with Ball State University promotions, Turner Classic Movies, Animal Planet and multiple production companies. My desire for a creative community brought me to Allied Productions' front door.

I love starting from the bottom, learning and adapting my skills to best fit my environment. Because of this, a collaboration with Allied Productions made perfect sense. At Allied, I will be able to expand my knowledge and skillset, shaping me into a well-rounded creative. It also allows me to interact with others while working for myself.

My creative concentration is in the field of post-production. Putting the pieces together to reveal the final project gives me great joy. Short-form editing is the style that showcases the peak of my creative ability. My career goal is to create Film Trailers, marrying images with music, intriguing audiences and promoting different filmmaker’s fantastic works.

If we are lucky enough to work together, I will do everything in my power to help make your dream a visual reality.
